Your regular Monday HOTWAB instalment. Again, this page was done long after the first batch which constituted issues 1 and 2, so the shading style is more or less where I'm going at the moment. Next week we're taking our first peek inside the main Trakztek HQ!

I mean.

It's fully possible neither of them are wrong.

Cybot definitely IS all about himself. However, that does not make the idea of rescuing them mutually exclusive: if he deems them useful to his plans, then he would in fact rescue them.

Just sitting and kvetching over a meal gives these mutant monsters a strangely sympathetic degree of humanity

Well, I've just read through everything up to this point all in one gulp. Guess I'm hooked.

Thank you both, I'm hoping now there's a good backlog that the comic is shaping up and people can get where I'm going with this. I hope you enjoy the adventures to come, there's a lot of them :D

I do like that you are spending time with your villians. It does humanize them quite a bit and makes them more relatable.

I'm hoping (ultimately) to look in to the grey areas around heroism and villainy. To Tanner and Ramborg, they did their stretch and should be free, so further incarceration isn't very fair, but they were played as bad guys in the media farce that led to their capture. Who's the bad guy in this situation?

Im planning on doing similar things myself. Ive got my very obviously black and white good guys and back guys but there will be plenty of characters who reach into those grey areas on both sides as far as their motivations go.
